To reset the Hive Active Thermostat…
- Press and hold the back button and menu button at the same time.
- The screen will count down from 10secs – Wait and keep holding!
- Once the countdown has been reached, simply let go of the buttons.
- The Thermostat will reset itself back to the day it left the factory.

Can you use a Hive with any boiler?
In most cases, the Hive thermostat will work just fine with your boiler. However, there are a few small exceptions. This includes solid fuel boilers (such as biomass systems and coal), and some Worcester Intelligent Appliance boilers and Worcester combi boilers.
